これはCR1なのでかなり眉唾な情報ではあるんですが、EOS R5 mark IIが2023Q4に登場するんじゃないか？という噂です。

正直なところ、EOS R5 mark IIに関しては2023Q4にでても2024に出ても驚きはありませんが、競合になるNikon Z8がバカ売れしている状態なので発売を早めてくることは十分考えられます。

いま、Canonはミラーレスの高画素フルサイズ機では完全に後れをとっている状態です。

自然なのはEOS R1が発売されて、そのセンサーを使ってEOS R5 mark IIが発売されることなのですが、そうなると2024Q3～Q4とかになるので、流石にユーザーが大量にZ8に流れてしまう危険がありそうです。

2023年内に少量ですが販売して、徐々に数を増やしつつファームアップしていく…というのもあり得る話ですね。

大きなファームウェアアップデートが来るという話もありましたが音沙汰ないですし、ちょっと注視する必要がありそうです 😛
